So, anyone have a favorite lube other than the traditional?
I used to used KY jelly, but I've got three new favorites now.
First is Aloe Vera Gel. It's 100% natural and absorbs well, so if you miss a little in your clean up you won't be all slimy!
Second is, believe it or not, a lip gloss! It's the Aquafina tingling lip gloss and it makes everything smell like raspberries... and oh my oh my does it feel good! It doesn't really burn, it just gets cold and tingles... too much in one place on the nozzle doesn't feel great, but if you spread it out well, then you're in for a good time.
Third is for when I'm feeling like I want a real rush. I mix a bit of the Aloe Vera Gel with Po Sum On oil. It's a camphor and peppermint blend, and it burns like nobody's business! Be really careful when using the mixture, though, because the Po Sum On can do bad things to mucus membranes if it's left on too long or if you use too much. Just add a drop or two and if you're not feeling it, just add a bit more! Although, considering when you open the bottle, your eyes burn, I doubt that you can use too little!!!

In response to your posting the type of lube you may use depends on the type of nozzle and what you are doing.
I do not recommended silicone based lubes, rather use water based as they do wash off very easily (ie. JO now found in your local pharmacy) especially if being used with inflation nozzles made of rubber or silicone. This also applies to any toys you may use. Silicone lubes tend to penetrate the cells of rubber or silicone based toys and as a result makes it hard to clean them. If you need a lube to allow multiple insertions Doc Johnson's anal lube is very good as it does not tend to wash off when exposed to water, but can be cleaned with soap and water (if is vegetable based). If you have ever given you partner an enema and then wanted to do anal sex at the same time this is the product to use. I do not recommend Vaseline, as this is a petroleum based product and will destroy rubber and silicone based items. In a pinch you can always use Crisco, it is again vegetable based. In general I have tested almost every lube out there and find these works best. Not to say that there are not other products that are similar in nature.
Now we come to the issue of what you put in the bag. LOL. People please use logic, and common sense. Anything put in the water can be very easily absorbed by the body, and very quickly. I use plain water, or add backing soda, salt, or plain castle soap, sometimes castle soap with a little peppermint that is in it.
Ivory soap if you want to remember how Mom did it. Coffee, certain teas, and herbs in moderation are ok. But remember the rectum, and the intestines are very sensitive mucus membranes, and can absorb toxins very quickly. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL, you can kill someone, if you want to use some, consider one oz of spirits to one quart of water and even then you have to be very careful. You can have side effects very quickly with anything that you use, so moderation at all times is the answer. Also remember what you have consumed at the other end can effect what may take place.
So hope my response has not put a damper on your own experimentation, just some words of wisdom.

Ack! I just typed out a fairly long contribution to this conversation, and somehow it didn't show up. Anyone else had this happen?

-Sabi I like your campho lube idea ,Ive been a Vicks enema giver for a decade now. My favorite(and the females that get them from me)is a saliva heavy RIM JOB ! The saliva is both natural and long lasting, and very slippery to ease in the enema nozzle insertion. Plus the rim job(if done right)loosens the anus up to allow easy insertion of the nozzle, and puts the anal area in a state of erotic pleasure.

my favorite is aloe juice after a cleansing enema. i like to retain it for about 15 min. feels relaxing and it's good for the colon. the organic juice is probably the best for you. you can find it at trader joes.

Just an odd thought , why not rename this thread "Lubes" or "Favorite Lubes" or "Lube List" or "Favored/Favorite Lube Recipe's" ? G.N.
